Eye Care You Can Count On in Folsom

This was my first time visiting and I had a really positive experience. I was checked in and seen pretty quickly, and everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and helpful. Even though it was toward the end of the day and there were still several patients in the lobby, the staff stayed patient and made sure everyone was taken care of. I never felt rushed during my appointment. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place. I’d be happy to come back here for another eye exam.

I visited an optometry clinic in Folsom after noticing some strain while working long hours on the computer. The doctor took time to listen carefully and explained everything in a calm and reassuring way. The exam was detailed but comfortable, and I left feeling relieved to finally understand what was causing the issue. It’s rare to find medical professionals who combine expertise with genuine kindness.

The eye exam and selecting glasses were a great experience. I had no issues related to my eyes and I like the brand of eyewear in the office. I like Nike in general, shoes and clothes, and try to get Nike glasses with my prescription. I was surprised to see them here. I got a pair of regular eyeglasses and sunglasses I like a lot.

Dr. Northcutt was awesome! The first thing he did was congratulate me on being his first patient to see him 3 times at Eye Center Optometric! He has an upbeat, positive attitude and did a great job with my exam!

Dr. Rafat is simply outstanding! She cares about your vision and eye health, and she takes time to explain in plain language how your vision changes over time.

Over the past several years optometrists I’ve seen have struggled to prescribe me the right prescription, and I had just settled for not having pristine eyesight correction anymore. With my first visit here, Dr. Norcott seemed to easily figure it out and I haven’t seen this well in years. I feel very grateful. He and their staff also had a very professional but warm manner and listened to me and my concerns.

One of the lenses in my 101-year-old father’s eyeglasses came loose and was missing when I visited him in memory care where he lives. Miraculously, after a thorough and frantic search it was found in the breast pocket of his shirt destined to the laundry where it would have been lost forever. Dad is so frail that it is unsafe for him to leave the long-term care facility, and having a functioning set of eyeglasses is critical to decrease the chance of suffering an injury due to a fall. I realized the need to have his glasses repaired right away for his safety. Thank God I took his glasses straight to EYEcenter Optometric; optician Patsy greeted me and started working on my dad’s eyeglasses as soon as I explained my concerns. She and practice manager Katie were extremely pleasant; dad’s eyeglasses were repaired and cleaned beautifully and even the nose pads were replaced. I fully expected to pay for this service, especially as dad had purchased his glasses elsewhere, but they insisted it was free. My father is delighted to be able to see properly again; I am so grateful to EYEcenter Optometric for being so generous to my father and me!

I have been going here with my son for 3 years. He is 7 now but fears everything the first time. The Dr was understanding and took the time to gain my Sons trust. We went back again last week and my son was eager to take his eye picture. The Dr sat him in the chair, took his time to describe what to do, and made it fun for my son. Very Very Good with kids.

Listening to responding to ALL questions and concerns, offering sound solutions and explanations in layperson format and terminology easy to understand. Appointment was on time and fast! Her expertise and attentiveness put me completely at ease during my examination. She took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process, addressing all of my questions and concerns with genuine care. It's clear that she is passionate about her work and dedicated to providing the best possible care for his patients. The facility itself is modern, clean, and well-organized, which only adds to the positive experience. The entire team at the Eye Center exemplifies outstanding service, making sure that every patient feels valued and cared for.

Everyone is extremely friendly, from the receptionist to the technicians and the doctors. Dr. Norcott was super nice and very knowledgeable... he knew exactly what was going on with my eyesight and clearly explained it to me. The furnishings at the Eye Center in Folsom are contemporary and beautifully decorated. They also have a wide range of glasses to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the Folsom Eye Center.

Been going for years. Moved away, then moved back and happy that my Insurance took them. Got my glasses updated and will be going back to try contacts for the first time.
