Dr. German Aparicio completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he received his degree in Biological Sciences. He then pursued his optometric studies at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry.
To hone in on his interest in specialty contact lenses, Dr. Aparicio completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses/Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute. Dr. Aparicio possesses a keen understanding of diagnosing and managing corneal and anterior segment pathology. As a contact lens specialist, Dr. Aparicio is experienced in fitting gas permeable, hybrid, scleral, and soft lenses for patients with post-surgical, ocular surface disease, keratoconus, orthokeratology, or otherwise difficult-to-fit prescriptions.
With his unique blend of clinical proficiency, cultural understanding, and a genuine desire to serve, Dr. Aparicio is excited to bring his optometric knowledge and compassionate approach to the Sacramento community. Dr. Aparicio is able to communicate effectively and compassionately in English and Spanish.
