Dr. Thanh Tran’s first interest in optometry came while working as a tech at a private practice during college. “I liked the industry, and the idea of caring for patients as well as being able to be more personable with patients.”
Dr. Tran received her undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and her Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from the Southern California College of Optometry. She is a member as well as a student fellow of the American Optometric Association, as well as a member of the California Optometric Association. She hopes to focus on specialty contact lenses as her career in optometry progresses.
Originally from Sacramento, Dr. Tran enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and biking, as well as spending time with her large family.
