Randy Fuerst, O.D., Optometrist
Dr. Fuerst is currently the President-elect on the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society board of directors, as well as on the American Optometric Association’s Contact Lens and Cornea council board of directors.
He is a fellow, American Academy of Optometry, and president of Vision of Hope, a 501C3 charity providing vision care to underprivileged children. Dr. Fuerst is president, Ocugenics, LLC, a research company recently awarded a $5.5M grant to work with Walter Reed Army Medical Center in corneal wound repair. Dr. Fuerst is married to Shirlene, and they have three children, Rachel, Ryan, and Marissa.
